Barbados is a tale of two coasts, with remarkable differences that create a wonderfully dichotomous experience of the country. On one side of the country, waves crash against coral boulders at Bathsheba Beach with an impending storm. On the other, the waters are calm and crystal clear at Batts Rock Beach, where locals can fish from the beach while sailors and swimmers look on. Barbados is a small island country with just 166 square miles of land - 20 miles on the diagonal and 15 miles wide at its widest point. And yet it is filled to the brim with color, nature, culture, music, flavor, personality, and so much more.
